Mother's Day

I have a lot of very special mothers in my life these days. My stepmother, my family members and so many of my friends, all wonderful mothers. I wish them all a very special day today, and everyday, as they navigate the roads of motherhood.

But honestly, I've always felt like Mother's Day only is for the one woman in my life who made me, raised me, and guided me through the trials of growing up. My mom was a wonderful person, with her own special sparkle in the world of motherhood. She wasn't perfect, by any means, but who is? But, despite her faults and imperfections, she was the perfect mother to me.

I will always keep her in my heart, day by day, missing her, yet feeling as if she is with me always. My siblings and I lost our mother on New Years Day 12 years ago. But though she is not with us in body, she will always be with us in spirit. Guiding us, keeping us safe, and reminding us that her love is eternal.

Digital Camera Help...

I recently bought a Kodak EasyShare M863 camera at Circuit City. I am not thrilled with the quality of pictures and some of the camera's functions. Mind you, I've only taken about 50 pictures so far, but when I uploaded them to my laptop and viewed them on the screen, they just looked horrible. My old camera was a Sony Cybershot DSC-S600. It took GREAT pictures but it had a lot of mechanical issues. I'd sent it back to the factory three times and it could really be worked on agian, but alas, my warranty is kaputz. So I've snapped off my usual fare of en route, on the road pictures and all of them suck. I've tried about 5 of the major "settings" and it doesn't seem to matter what I do, but they all turn out grainy and "foggy" and just crummy. For the money I paid for this camera it should take better quality pictures. Of course, today I reviewed the new camera online via various sites and it seems that the "crummy picture syndrome"

Open Forum

I have been thinking about opening myself up for questions and inquiry on both a personal and professional level recently. Today I decided I'd go for it. I am opening the floor to you, my readers, to ask me anything. Now, please understand that I have the right to refuse to answer any question I do no feel will be productive or at least entertaining. I am hoping for some really interesting questions, so don't disappoint me! I also would appreciate keeping things G or at least PG, in case there are young impressionable's reading this blog. I am anxious to see what you want to know about me and my life on the road. As questions come in and I have time to answer them, I will post them as individual blogs.
