Wedded Bliss

Image
So yeah on Saturday May 21, 2011 I got myself hitched to my sweetie. It was a brilliant, lovely, perfect day filled with an abundance of love and celebration. Our family and friends that came to share our wedding day made it so special for us. My Daddy walked me down the aisle. My Sister was my Matron of Honor. My niece was the most precious Flower Girl ever. My now brother-in-law stood with my sweetie as his Best Man. And our best friends Dad served as our Officiant. It was an awesome and amazing day which we will remember for the rest of our lives. Or as we say it... forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and.......

alive and, well....

Life has been insane. Training, wedding planning, a not quite brief enough hospitalization, the actual wedding, a short honeymoon, and now back into training mode. C R A Z Y. I promise a blog soon.

Nightmare on My Street

I was sitting here this morning on a second day off sick sipping coffee and eating cereal, between coughing fits. I looked to my left to retrieve my coffee cup when I noticed a little bitty ant crawling around on the tabletop. UGH! I squished him dead and kept on about my business of breakfasting. Griping, of course, about how there were ants interrupting my breakfast. After I was done eating I sat my empty cereal bowl on another table and decided I wanted to play on the internet for a little bit. I hadn't used my laptop for internet surfing for a few days so I figured I'd save myself the headache of having to read the tiny print on

Beginning Week 5

I was a little frustrated to realize that the first route of this week was one I've run twice already. It is a little difficult for some to learn because of all the turns. There are a total of 87 turns when run from beginning to end. That's a bit much, but if you can use landmarks and street names to remember where to go, it makes it much easier. And having run it twice already before, I did it without any problems this morning. But still. I didn't feel like I needed to run it a third time. I kinda felt like it was a waste of time. There are other routes that are much more difficult. Ones that I will be running more often that I need to be learning. The routes that are the toughest are the ones on what is called the main-line. They have multiple fare zones many of which I still can't locate while en route. I just feel like running those routes would be way more beneficial right now. I have a rough week ahead too. 57.75 hours scheduled and not a lot of time off between s
