Smooshed Fruit...

I am hooked Smooshed Fruit. I found them at a convience store in rural West Virginia of all places and snatched up only two the first time around. Next time I was in the area I grabbed 6, and I have only one left. I have to save them for special moments when I really want a tasty treat. It's been very hard to ration them. They are made of all-natural organic fruit. Apparently, there is another company making a similar product which they call Fruit Leather. The brand I've tried and love is FruitaBu . Check it out...if you see it in a store, buy it and try it! ....I'm on this fruit kick right now. I think it's a good thing... except for the fact that it makes me stop many more times to frequent the potty. I'm making a concerted effort to eat better. Trying to get out of the truck stop resturants and fast food joints that I've fallen into for the past two months. So far so good. Today I took the company car to the local grocery store to pick up some more fruit and

Oh Bother...

I'm certainly digitally lazy these days, aren't I? But I'm okay with that. If you're not... oh well. haha Since my last blog I had an awesome and extended time at home break, which was much appreciated. I stole an extra day and three-quarters off thanks to a load that got me home two nights before I had to deliver. Basically, when I got the load I headed home, getting there late in the evening and having the whole next day to goof off. Then the following day, after a good nights rest I delivered the load and then went home again to start my time off. It was very nice. During my time at home the better half and I spent a night in one of our great State Parks where we rented a cabin for the night. The next night we stayed with his dad after making a surprise visit to his grandparents' house near the State Park we stayed at. The following two nights we were back at home, exhausted after helping my niece celebrate her 4th birthday. Then it was off again! Well, sort of.

Off to PA

Today I’m picking up a load in Coshocton, OH and taking it to Williamsport, OH. It’s a short run, but it will get me closer to home in a manner of speaking. Apparently freight in PA is not as soft as it is elsewhere (crummy=soft) so I shouldn’t have any problem getting assigned a load that takes me either to the great state of West Virignia or through the state. Which would allow me my 3 days at home this weekend and then deliver early next week. Let’s hope it works out that way. Yesterday I had to run up to Cleveland to deliver a load and then I was routed back here to our Seville Operations Center so I could attend the first day of Spring Training. Mandatory training sessions occur in winter and spring. They primarily consist of information regarding accidents and loss prevention in the realms of freight, equipment and personal injury. Just as with winter training, we were presented with astounding figures on the amount of money Schenider spends each year on accidents, workers comp c
