Gi-Gi Roxx - The Ravings of a Lunatic

Man I've been bustin' hump since vacation. If I'm not careful I'll run out of hours! But ya know, as long as the wheels are turning, the pennies keep adding up. I should get a nice "back from vacay" paycheck. Not to mention that today I learned that I earned a 4th QTR bonus, which I wasn't sure if I would get or not. Sweet... and it'll all go towards my 2011 Cruise! Yeeehawww. Two more bonuses and it'll be paid off and a little put aside for spending cash! Lets hope I can pull it off. As I said, I've been running really hard these past few days, nearly 500 miles (give or take, mostly give) each day, and while great for the pocketbook it is wearing me out. I got sooooo spoiled on vacation. Sleeping in is such a luxury, one I can't afford out here. It's taken me a bit to get back into the swing of it, but I think I'm pretty much there now. Vacation is over. This is sad. I have to work now. Booooo So today is my first official day back to work after a lovely winter vacation. It was a rocky start, partly because of my own (un)doing and partly because of the weather. It's effin' cold, snowy and just plain yucky right now, as many of you are aware. Most of the US is being blasted by wintry weather. Columbus, where I had parked Kenny for vacation, was no exception. After a slippery and slow drive in the Nissan back to Columbus from home yesterday, my sweetie and I arrived to find Kenny covered in snow right where I'd parked him. After clearing a few paths and knocking off some of the snow, we loaded all of my crap into the berth and high-tailed it to the hotel. My last night of vacation was bitter sweet, filled with the aromatic scents of rare steaks and sweet peas which we cooked in the kitchenette of our suite. As per request I attempted to find a link to the newspaper article, but sadly I can't get it either. The bookmark I had takes me to a "page not found" page. Apparently, the online version of the paper sends all that stuff to archives and one needs to pay for a copy of an article older than 14 days. Sorry folks, I'm a truck driver, not a millionaire and thus not paying for an article. It was a nice article however, and I am sorry to learn that so many of you missed out on it.
