Eviction Notice

Yes I know yesterday I posted about being 4 days from my due date.  But today I'm only 3 days away from it. Which is closer by a whole 24 hours. 

Oh, but don't worry, I'm feeling like things are gonna stay quiet for a while yet.  Baby girl seems quite content to just hang out in there, lounging around, getting fatter.  Can't blame her really, I'm sure it's much more cozy in there than it will be out here. 

I'm thinking of writing up an eviction notice, however. 

Yes, that should do it right? 

Or will I have to deal with a lawyer, police, and tons of red tape just like when you evict someone in the real world?

Well, regardless... here's my attempt at a quiet, peaceful eviction....

 Dear Baby Girl, 

 You have three days to vacate the premises.  We, your mommy and daddy, are really anxious to get you into our arms as soon as possible.  We understand that you do technically have three days left on your womb lease, but would appreciate a prompt and courteous move out on or before the end of our 9 month living arrangement this coming Sunday March 17, 2013.  

We have truly appreciated having you stay with us (even if you have heard mommy complain from time to time) and we hope that your accommodations have been satisfactory for the duration of your stay.  While we regret the desire for you to move out, we know that you will be much better off out here, with us.  So please, consider this peaceful request, one full of the utmost unconditional love there is to offer in such a situation. Your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.

Baby girl missed having a palindrome birthday (3 13 13), but can still aim for St. Patrick's Day under the terms of your agreement.

And, FWIW, I rather like the name "Frances." Name in the news, because of the new (elderly) pope, but wasn't Frances also that whipsmart little badger of kids' book fame?

Frances Roxx sounds good to me. But know you will come up with something even better.

Digital Camera Help...

I recently bought a Kodak EasyShare M863 camera at Circuit City. I am not thrilled with the quality of pictures and some of the camera's functions. Mind you, I've only taken about 50 pictures so far, but when I uploaded them to my laptop and viewed them on the screen, they just looked horrible. My old camera was a Sony Cybershot DSC-S600. It took GREAT pictures but it had a lot of mechanical issues. I'd sent it back to the factory three times and it could really be worked on agian, but alas, my warranty is kaputz. So I've snapped off my usual fare of en route, on the road pictures and all of them suck. I've tried about 5 of the major "settings" and it doesn't seem to matter what I do, but they all turn out grainy and "foggy" and just crummy. For the money I paid for this camera it should take better quality pictures. Of course, today I reviewed the new camera online via various sites and it seems that the "crummy picture syndrome"

Open Forum

I have been thinking about opening myself up for questions and inquiry on both a personal and professional level recently. Today I decided I'd go for it. I am opening the floor to you, my readers, to ask me anything. Now, please understand that I have the right to refuse to answer any question I do no feel will be productive or at least entertaining. Blowin' Stuff Up

Man, I've been seriously fortunate lately. Since I last posted, I had the pleasure of finally putting that darned HAZMAT endorsement to use by taking a load of potassium nitrate into Canada. Of course, my initial reaction was to wonder why my dispatcher hated me enough to do this to me. But then I realized it was just a fine opportunity to expand my horizons. I was afraid that the load was going to be a huge hassle when crossing the border. Turns out, they didn't give two craps about what I was hauling. I approached customs anticipating much ado and received...well... nothing. I was in Canada in less than 5 minutes upon reaching the border crossing. Woo hoo! So far so good. So I arrive at my destination and find myself thinking that finally the tables have turned and luck is running for the hills.
