Thank You!

A huge, enthusiastic THANK YOU to my home girl over at The Daily Rant for creating the masterpiece blog header that you now see above. I love it and it really makes my blog snap!

It started out as a simple e-mail question about what type of program she used to create her own blog header and quickly turned into a back and forth e-mail fest which led to this final product.

Salena I cannot thank you enough for the time you took to make this (and the other prototypes) for me and my silly little blog. Not to mention the fact that you helped me take my blog in a new direction with giving it an actual title.

Maybe now that it's pretty to look at I'll visit my own blog more often.... maybe. ;o)

Of course I'll be spending some of my time blogging over at The Other Side of Gi-Gi Roxx, another place that got all prettied up with the creative talents of my blogging comrade. The Other Side is a new place for me to blog about all things non-trucking. Check it out and lemme know what ya think so far!

Digital Camera Help...

I recently bought a Kodak EasyShare M863 camera at Circuit City. I am not thrilled with the quality of pictures and some of the camera's functions. Mind you, I've only taken about 50 pictures so far, but when I uploaded them to my laptop and viewed them on the screen, they just looked horrible. My old camera was a Sony Cybershot DSC-S600. It took GREAT pictures but it had a lot of mechanical issues. I'd sent it back to the factory three times and it could really be worked on agian, but alas, my warranty is kaputz. So I've snapped off my usual fare of en route, on the road pictures and all of them suck. I've tried about 5 of the major "settings" and it doesn't seem to matter what I do, but they all turn out grainy and "foggy" and just crummy. For the money I paid for this camera it should take better quality pictures. Of course, today I reviewed the new camera online via various sites and it seems that the "crummy picture syndrome"

Open Forum

I have been thinking about opening myself up for questions and inquiry on both a personal and professional level recently. Today I decided I'd go for it. I am opening the floor to you, my readers, to ask me anything. Now, please understand that I have the right to refuse to answer any question I do no feel will be productive or at least entertaining. I am hoping for some really interesting questions, so don't disappoint me! I also would appreciate keeping things G or at least PG, in case there are young impressionable's reading this blog. I am anxious to see what you want to know about me and my life on the road. As questions come in and I have time to answer them, I will post them as individual blogs.
