Repaired

I'm sitting in Kenny right now hoping that what the mechanic told me this morning was truth and that we're really ready to roll without any further issues, at least related to my EGR valve and the subsequent bits and pieces affected by it's tantrum. When I arrived at the shop this morning to inquire as to the status of the truck I was told it was finished and waiting for me in the rear parking lot.

I asked a few questions about who fixed it, what they did, etc. There was nearly $1,500 worth of repairs and/or replacements provided during the course of fixing the truck. One guy wondered how I'd made it over the road without breaking down completely for so long, thinking it must have been a miracle. Another said at least I could get outta this place finally!

I agree... and as I type I'm receiving an outbound work assignment which will finally get me rolling again! Hooray....

Digital Camera Help...

I recently bought a Kodak EasyShare M863 camera at Circuit City. I am not thrilled with the quality of pictures and some of the camera's functions. Mind you, I've only taken about 50 pictures so far, but when I uploaded them to my laptop and viewed them on the screen, they just looked horrible. My old camera was a Sony Cybershot DSC-S600. It took GREAT pictures but it had a lot of mechanical issues. I'd sent it back to the factory three times and it could really be worked on agian, but alas, my warranty is kaputz. So I've snapped off my usual fare of en route, on the road pictures and all of them suck. I've tried about 5 of the major "settings" and it doesn't seem to matter what I do, but they all turn out grainy and "foggy" and just crummy. For the money I paid for this camera it should take better quality pictures. Of course, today I reviewed the new camera online via various sites and it seems that the "crummy picture syndrome"

Open Forum

I have been thinking about opening myself up for questions and inquiry on both a personal and professional level recently. Today I decided I'd go for it. I am opening the floor to you, my readers, to ask me anything. Now, please understand that I have the right to refuse to answer any question I do no feel will be productive or at least entertaining. I am hoping for some really interesting questions, so don't disappoint me! I also would appreciate keeping things G or at least PG, in case there are young impressionable's reading this blog.
