Quick Pic's...

Just felt compelled to post a few pictures that I've taken recently. Hope you enjoy. I'll surely post a blog soon... I am just still relishing the post camping trip buzz and don't really want to focus too much on work. I suppose if anyone is intersted, I can post some pictures from that trip. But for now... this is all you get. :o)

Interstate Travel
Interstate Travel - Keeping to the straight and not so narrow.

A neato bridge.
A really neato bridge.

I was really affected emotionally while driving through the States of Iowa, Missouri, Oklahoma, etc. during the first stages of the severe flooding that's been going on. These next three shots were taken in Iowa, I believe all of them along I-80. The shots were taken before the worst of the flooding occured, if you can imagine. I can't.

Iowa Flooding

More Flooding

And more flooding.

Terribles Casino
I found this amusing. The sign was probably all of 50 ft. tall or something insane like that. I just loved it.

Choo-Choo
And finally... the choo-choo train that I encountered while taking a "shortcut" to a consignee in San Marcos, TX. I still beat the other driver that took the other route to the place, and he even left 4 minutes before I did! woo hoo!

Ok, that's either Center Point Rd, McCarty Lane (Hwy 233), or County Road 235 in San Marcos (let me know which!). I drive the I35 corridor every week from Waco to Laredo and Center Point Rd to Hwy 2439 is an occasional running(exercise) route for me.

Enjoy your blog by the way!

Ya know, I believe it was McCarty Lane. There was a Valero on the Frontage Rd. off the interstate there that I stopped at before making my delivery. Which is where I met a guy going to the same place and he took one route and I took the other and I still beat him! haha

If you went back north on the frontage road and then west that's McCarty, if you come out of the Valero and then turned right next to Whataburger (my fave burger chain--the only place you can order a burger and not have to tell them no mayo or catsup)and Starbucks then that's Center Point.

Probably way too detail oriented but it's interesting to recognize one of my regular stopping points.
