Yeah, I made that.

I almost didn't do it.

I played with my photo editing software creating a possible new header for my blog using a new picture I'd taken. I debated for quite some time whether or not to actually use it. I love love love the header that Salena had made for my page. But I was also battling with the internal need for a fresh look and a little change of pace. With the more personal direction my blog is taking, not being just about trucking stuff anymore, I felt a new look was in the future.

After finalizing the header in the editing program I stared at it for well over 20 minutes, wondering if it had the look and feel I was looking for. Would it suit me? My blog? Would it cost me readers or maybe attract new ones? Would anyone even care or notice?

Debating over, I headed over to the design section of my blogger account for this blog and tried it on. Fiddling with the backgrounds and font colors and such, trying it all on for size. I found the right mix of everything and without hesitation I clicked the SAVE button on the screen.

I'm pretty happy with the outcome.

I like it. It is bright, clean and fresh. Way to go. Now maybe I should think about updating the look of my blog...hhhmmmm

This is BEAUTIFUL!! I love the header and I love the background. It's soft and beautiful and very eye-appealing.

Several times I've considered changing my header too but I'm not sure what I want to do.

Anyway...good call. It's got a great feel to it and perfect for a new year!

Digital Camera Help...

I recently bought a Kodak EasyShare M863 camera at Circuit City. I am not thrilled with the quality of pictures and some of the camera's functions. Mind you, I've only taken about 50 pictures so far, but when I uploaded them to my laptop and viewed them on the screen, they just looked horrible. My old camera was a Sony Cybershot DSC-S600. It took GREAT pictures but it had a lot of mechanical issues. I'd sent it back to the factory three times and it could really be worked on agian, but alas, my warranty is kaputz. So I've snapped off my usual fare of en route, on the road pictures and all of them suck. I've tried about 5 of the major "settings" and it doesn't seem to matter what I do, but they all turn out grainy and "foggy" and just crummy. For the money I paid for this camera it should take better quality pictures. Of course, today I reviewed the new camera online via various sites and it seems that the "crummy picture syndrome"

Open Forum

I have been thinking about opening myself up for questions and inquiry on both a personal and professional level recently. Today I decided I'd go for it. I am opening the floor to you, my readers, to ask me anything. Now, please understand that I have the right to refuse to answer any question I do no feel will be productive or at least entertaining. Don't Panic

It's just a facelift. I was tired of the orange and green swirly background. I'm not sure I like this one but it's gonna have to do until I find something more suitable. Sorry.
