Hair Do Blunders


So I went to the mall this past Saturday to get my hair done. I was looking for something like the shaggy sexy do on Winona Ryder in the picture above. But I ended up with the hairstyle below. This picture was taken day one after I got it cut and while I managed to make it look kind of cute, but wasn't certain I liked it. After 5 days, I've decided I hate it. I'm going today to get it fixed.


And here is the new and improved Gi-Gi Roxx. :) Soooo much better!

You seriously look like two different people. The first picture is the "cute" you...the second, the "sophisticated" you. I know I said this already, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the short hair.

And you can spike it, brush it forward, do it to the side like you have it...totally cute options.

I use this stuff in my hair and it's PHENOMENAL. It's tacky clay and smells great. I got it in a salon initially, but since I couldn't find it, I bought it online.

One other thing I'd suggest with the short hair...a dangly earring. SMALL dangly, not really LONG dangly. With the hair so short, a little movement at the earlobe will be beautiful!

Digital Camera Help...

I recently bought a Kodak EasyShare M863 camera at Circuit City. I am not thrilled with the quality of pictures and some of the camera's functions. Mind you, I've only taken about 50 pictures so far, but when I uploaded them to my laptop and viewed them on the screen, they just looked horrible. My old camera was a Sony Cybershot DSC-S600. It took GREAT pictures but it had a lot of mechanical issues. I'd sent it back to the factory three times and it could really be worked on agian, but alas, my warranty is kaputz. So I've snapped off my usual fare of en route, on the road pictures and all of them suck. I've tried about 5 of the major "settings" and it doesn't seem to matter what I do, but they all turn out grainy and "foggy" and just crummy. For the money I paid for this camera it should take better quality pictures. Of course, today I reviewed the new camera online via various sites and it seems that the "crummy picture syndrome"

Open Forum

I have been thinking about opening myself up for questions and inquiry on both a personal and professional level recently. Today I decided I'd go for it. I am opening the floor to you, my readers, to ask me anything. Now, please understand that I have the right to refuse to answer any question I do no feel will be productive or at least entertaining. Blowin' Stuff Up

Man, I've been seriously fortunate lately. Since I last posted, I had the pleasure of finally putting that darned HAZMAT endorsement to use by taking a load of potassium nitrate into Canada. Of course, my initial reaction was to wonder why my dispatcher hated me enough to do this to me. But then I realized it was just a fine opportunity to expand my horizons. I was afraid that the load was going to be a huge hassle when crossing the border. Turns out, they didn't give two craps about what I was hauling. I approached customs anticipating much ado and received...well... nothing. I was in Canada in less than 5 minutes upon reaching the border crossing. Woo hoo! So far so good. So I arrive at my destination and find myself thinking that finally the tables have turned and luck is running for the hills.
