MySpace

I've had a couple of you inquire about my personal MySpace account. I have moderated posts where some of you have posted a link to my MySpace account, which is set to private anyway so you can't view it unless you're on "the list".

I hate to be this way, but I do need to inform you that my MySpace account is just that... personal. I have it for friends and family only. Anyone that I'd added that didn't match that description is no longer on "the list". I feel the need to do this simply because I do blog and bulletin some more personal information that I don't think the general public needs to have access to.

Any thing I blog about related to my profession of driving a truck is blogged on here for all who are intersted to enjoy. I hope that you understand my desire to keep the rest of my life private.

Thank you for your dedication and continued interest in reading about my life on the road. I hope to keep providing you with quality blogs for as long as I am able to connect to the internet and manipulate a keyboard.

Hey thanks for changing the blog. It is much easier to read. I want to tell you that I only asked for your mysapce becauseI thought you were blogging about trucking on there instead of on here. You started out so good but then stopped. I read all I can about trucking because I want to be an OTR trucker myself. I also realize that you have a private life and I don't want to intrude. I also know that being a truck driver you get tired all of the time and it's hard to keep up with it. Any way have fun and keep writing.

I have such a hard time finding internet connections out here since I only have a wi-fi card on my laptop. I need to suck it up and invest in a broadband card that I can use anywhere (or just about anywhere) since I'm pretty much an internet addict anyways. I wish I could blog more!

Digital Camera Help...

I recently bought a Kodak EasyShare M863 camera at Circuit City. I am not thrilled with the quality of pictures and some of the camera's functions. Mind you, I've only taken about 50 pictures so far, but when I uploaded them to my laptop and viewed them on the screen, they just looked horrible. My old camera was a Sony Cybershot DSC-S600. It took GREAT pictures but it had a lot of mechanical issues. I'd sent it back to the factory three times and it could really be worked on agian, but alas, my warranty is kaputz. So I've snapped off my usual fare of en route, on the road pictures and all of them suck. I've tried about 5 of the major "settings" and it doesn't seem to matter what I do, but they all turn out grainy and "foggy" and just crummy. Open Forum

I have been thinking about opening myself up for questions and inquiry on both a personal and professional level recently. Today I decided I'd go for it. I am opening the floor to you, my readers, to ask me anything. Now, please understand that I have the right to refuse to answer any question I do no feel will be productive or at least entertaining. I am hoping for some really interesting questions, so don't disappoint me! I also would appreciate keeping things G or at least PG, in case there are young impressionable's reading this blog. Mmm...Jello

I just finished a sugar free Cherry Gel snack ( I can't call it Jell-O since it's officially a generic brand that I bought). It was yummy. Not nearly as yummy as the foods I spoiled myself with the last few days. Night one, sushi. It was damn good sushi shared with good company, whom I know let me off really cheap on my cost of the meal. It was fantastic and I was surprised at how well sushi went with light beer. Go figure. Night two, Mongolian. O M G I could eat Mongolian every freaking day for the rest of my life and never tire. It's the bestest. Primarily because you make it how you want it. If you've never been to a Mongolian BBQ restaurant then you're truly missing out.
