I love new toys.

Well I went to Best Buy and bought myself a new digital point and shoot camera during my last time at home. I blame my sister, because she got a new camera and I was jealous. But I did want one since my old camera has a dead pixel that pisses me off every time I print a picture and see the red dot it leaves behind.

Plus this one is 16 mega pixel with an 8x zoom. My old one was something way more pathetic and sad than that, with it's 8 mega pixels and puny 3x zoom. So I'm thrilled to have a newer better camera. The hubby is also happy to have my hand-me-down.

So far what I like about it the most is that it has a lot of new preset program features that will make for some super fun photo taking. Like this little ditty called "fisheye".

I mean, just look how lovely I am through the eyes of a fish!

But I digress...

So yeah, new toy! I can't wait to start snapping new pictures with it! Maybe I'll finally snag one of those elusive weenie waggers! Or not.

Very funny! I love the fisheye feature...but I'm not as brave as you to post a picture. That's why Ed is my guinea pig. I have some other cool settings too - I have to remember to use them!

Digital Camera Help...

I recently bought a Kodak EasyShare M863 camera at Circuit City. I am not thrilled with the quality of pictures and some of the camera's functions. Mind you, I've only taken about 50 pictures so far, but when I uploaded them to my laptop and viewed them on the screen, they just looked horrible. My old camera was a Sony Cybershot DSC-S600. It took GREAT pictures but it had a lot of mechanical issues. I'd sent it back to the factory three times and it could really be worked on agian, but alas, my warranty is kaputz. So I've snapped off my usual fare of en route, on the road pictures and all of them suck. I've tried about 5 of the major "settings" and it doesn't seem to matter what I do, but they all turn out grainy and "foggy" and just crummy. For the money I paid for this camera it should take better quality pictures. Of course, today I reviewed the new camera online via various sites and it seems that the "crummy picture syndrome"

Open Forum

I have been thinking about opening myself up for questions and inquiry on both a personal and professional level recently. Today I decided I'd go for it. I am opening the floor to you, my readers, to ask me anything. Now, please understand that I have the right to refuse to answer any question I do no feel will be productive or at least entertaining.
