I don't know why it had never occured to me to post pictures with my blogs. But thanks to a recent comment by Aaron the Truck Driver, I decided up load some of my personal favorites that I've been taking along the way to a photobucket account to share with you. Here's round one of pictures, with brief descriptions or stories to explain them for you. Enjoy! (I apologize in advance for the variation in sizes on the pictures. I tried to resize them all and then upload them, but apparently something got screwed up so even though they're small on the photobucket site they are all whacky here.) Well of course this is just me in my big rig. This was taken sometime back in September by my ol' man at a truck stop in West Virginia. If I recall correctly, this was taken the morning after I got to stop and sneak in a visit with him and his family. And of course this is me pokin' my head out of my window while the ol' man took a full view shot of my rig. This is from my

Blog Attempt

I don’t know what my deal is lately. I’m in a funk. I feel as though all of my precious "Force" has been drained out of my body. I’m constantly tired, doing physical labor makes me nearly comatose, and no matter how long I sleep, I’m not getting a resurgance of energy. FUNK. That being said, I apologize for any lack of life to this particular blog in advance. *snort* Not that it matters what you think, since I blog mainly for my own benefit, as a record of where I’ve been and what I’ve done and experienced along the way. ....and lookie there I just gave a little bit more of my "Force" away in the form of an unvalidated apology. Geesh.... Anywho. Not a whole lot of excitement in my life since my last short blog. I delivered my Charlotte load with no problemo. I was dispatched to drag my empty trailer up to Greensboro, NC to get my next load bound for Bondsville, MA. That trip was intersected by getting to crash in a hotel in Martinsburg, WV while the ol’ man was work

I wish...

I was in the mood to blog my little heart out. But I’m not. So I’ll make it short and sweet, for my fans... haha. I had dreams of a night in Las Vegas dashed away when I arrived at a shipper in Iowa to find out that the load I’d been dispatched to pick up and take to So. Cal. didn’t actually exist, well not until next week. So, I was reassigned to get a load going to North Carolina. Bummer. Although, bright side of this load is I am enjoying 70 degree weather here in Charlotte, NC and getting some laundry and shopping done. Shortly, I’ll find food and then get some rest. I deliver my current load at 8am on the south side of town and then who knows where I’ll go from there! Short review, I had 4 days at home this past weekend and enjoyed spending time with my sister and her little family. I got to spend one day with my sweetie and then had to get back out on the road. I had the pleasure of picking up a load in Ravenswood, WV bound for Davenport, IA. I also got to spend a night

Travels and Stuff

Let's see... where did I last leave off. I have no clue. I know I had delivered a load up in Baltimore and stayed the night in Jessup at the TA last time I blogged. The following day I grabbed a load in Winchester, VA headed for Tennessee. The load took me through the house and I got to take two days off. The load was to deliver in Marysville, TN at precisely 7am on the 4th of March. I was supposed to get three days off, but to avoid leaving out at midnight and not getting quality sleep to be driving on, I left on Monday and spent the night in Knoxville. I made on time delivery, actually I was a half an hour eary, on Tuesday morning and was in and our in no time. I was lucky enough to get a quick dispatch, but first I had to take care of some other business for the company. Turns out the trailer I hauled the TN load in was a leaker and needed to be repaired. So I had to take the trailer to a repair shop up in Knoxville and then go find another empty to get my next load with. After
